what do you do for a gorgeous vegan on her birthday?

You make cupcakes, of course! In this case, fluffy peanut butter cupcakes with a chocolate ganache topping...

...and a few butterscotch chips on top!

Today was Bridget's birthday, and luckily she works near me so I got to take some treats from "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" over for her! Bridget's greyhound, Sally, has been having some medical difficulties lately, but fortunately today she seems to be feeling a tiny bit better. That's the best birthday gift, isn't it?

Today's VeganMoFo was brought to you by the letters B (birthdays), C (cupcakes), and D (doggies). Happy birthday, Bridge!

Awwwwwwwwwwww...thanks for the Birthday wishes, the cupcakes and coming by to visit! I have three left and I am hiding them from the students! They are like bloodhounds. They can smell food from miles away.

Wow - loved your previous post about Thanksgiving. What a difficult holiday it is - everything centered around dead birds! I will be posting my own thoughts on the holiday as will many others I'm sure - especially poignant because I teach Kindergarten and must do all the cutesy turkey crafts and such.

Hi bazu, I usually say only good things about Sheese, but this time (I read your post on What the Hell does...) I have to warn you: do not try the Blue Sheese, it could be a major disappointment... I actually had to toss it away, I could not bring myself to eat it, the taste was metallic and chemical, like drinking a sip of steel polish or something (cannot describe this better) *sob* ...maybe it goes away when added somewhere during cooking or after melting, but I doubt it...

Once again I'm being tortured by the sight of vegan butterscotch chips! I'm just going to have to break down and order them. I know those lovely cupcakes brightened Bridget's day.
