Recently, I saw in the back of a magazine that I could email the Dr. Kracker company and request a free sample. I jumped at the chance, because I love these flatbreads, but don't often buy them because of the high price.
A week or so later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a gigantic package on my doorstep. Inside, I found :
3 full-sized packs of flatbreads (klassic 3 seed, seeded spelt, and seedlander), a package of cheddar crackers (not vegan, but the ingredients specified that the enzyme for making the cheese was vegetarian), and a neat yellow tin.
You too can request this free sample- it's like Christmas in January! These crackers are so flavorful and delicious, and healthy, with whole spelt flour, and various seeds such as sunflower and flax. They are also ultra-crunchy.
Send your address to: samples@drkracker.com
Thanks, Dr. Kracker!

How cool is that? I love it when companies are so generous. It really does make me more likely to purchase their products in the future.
Also saw your comment about Babel on my blog. Honestly, I'd hate for you to miss out on such a different and interesting movie because I scared you away with my commentary on a 30 second scene.
Now you know to watch for it. Believe me it won't sneak up on you, I knew it was coming and I didn't have warning. You can always look away or cover your eyes. I watched the scene even though I knew what was going to happen. When it ended I thought to myself, that affirms why I am a vegan.
Holy moly that is a long post before this one. I also dig those oranges, though here they call them blood or morro oranges. Maybe they are not the same. Last week, I also tried a pink orange called cara cara. The kale looks yummy. I've got some left that I'll likely be makng for tonight.
The gels, how interesting! I was thinking of stopping by the Asian grocery because of something I saw on another blog. I'll have to look for those as well.
Hope you are feeling much better by now!
Cool, lucky you. I'm going to have to try requesting a sample. I've never tried this particular brand before. You make it sound so yummy. Thanks.
Mad Props to Bazu!
Thanks for telling us about this! It's so cool that they sent you such a nice big package! I also really love these crackers, and I also agree that they are pricey. These were a very critical part of my diet for our first week in Croatia last summer - until I ran out! They are so hearty and yummy. I've already written to see I can get in on the sample action!
Hoorah!
How neat! That's so cool they sent you so much free stuff. Free + Food = two of my favorite things :) Thanks for the heads up about this!!!
im happy for you!
Dr. Kracker always has samples at my farmers market and I esp. love the seeded crackers. What a great gift you got. Thanks for the tip!
I've never heard of Dr. Kracker until now, so I will definitely go request a sample! Right on!
You probably just spiked their request numbers and they are wondering why all of a sudden they got emailed by a hundred thousand vegans! LOL The power of the web! I haven't tried this brand but definitely will now.
Wow thanks for that .. I sent off my address - do you think they will send it to Alaska? Tee hee..
You have a tattooed wedding ring? How absolutely cool is that?
Few things are better than free food! I'm surprised they sent you such a big package - most companies are totally skimpy with their freebies. Good score!
Ooo! I like free stuff that I can use. I highly doubt they'll ship to Canada, but I can send off a request and see what happens.
I'm drooling over your food round-up! I don't know which one I like best - everything looks delish!
Thanks, bazu, for the information about the free crackers. I like the Dr. Kracker crackers that I have had in the past, and look forward to hopefully receiving the gift pack with new items to try! I hope that your mouth is quickly healing to the point that you can eat the items that you wish to!
