Happiness is a warm crumpet out of the toaster, slathered with margarine, ready to go with your cup of tea.

I love crumpets so much. We always keep some in the freezer to snack on.

Pretty interesting. I've never had a crumpet and had no idea what they looked like!

Now that is something I haven't had in a loooong time. I did always like them though, especially with jam or honey on them to get into all those little holes. MMmmmm now I am hungry!

I miss crumpets :/ can't be bothered to buy a crumpet form, though, when there are visits to and friends in the UK.

Hmmm crumpet...my first thought was that it looked like an English muffin, but then I wondered "do they call them English muffins in ENGLAND??" Ah, the mysteries of life...

bazu said...

hey kati- english muffins are just called 'muffins' here! and crumpets are softer, fluffier and chewier than muffins. I love both though.

Yum. Would you believe that I have eaten 6 crumpets today? What a pig. The only thing missing from your picture is the layer of marmite..
