New Look

Hi everybody,

In the spirit of renewal, I'm doing a little spring cleaning around here. I've switched to a new Blogger format. Hopefully this one will be a bit more legible and easier on everyone's eyes! I'm now in the process of importing all my old links, etc. to this new blog. All the information should still be here! Thanks for bearing with me through this change.

If anyone knows how to retrieve old page elements and links please let me know-thanks!

I like it! I like it!

I made kale soup tonight - a thicker version since it was my meal - and I loved it! Thanks for posting about it and I'll be sure to let VYY know.

Sweet, you figured out the labels too! I had to spend a lot of time going back through mine so the list wasn't a billion things long.
Hope you like the new blogger, I didn't realize you hadn't switched yet.. get with the times!

Thanks guys!

Tania, thanks for the tips! I am so going to have to shrink those labels! I was in the new Blogger for a long time, (beta since September) but the bastards hadn't updated my template.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yours is one of my favourite blogs, but I did have such a hard time reading the old format. Yay for white backgrounds! I love the new blog so much!

I'm back...

I just wanted to comment on the post below, and tell you that everything looks amazing. I would love to try that soup, perhaps there is a recipe?

Also, I have been using oat bran in baking for the last year, and I find that it pretty much subs in 1:1 for flour. It will make baked goods much more dense, and sometimes a little bitter, but they are so much more filling this way.

Mmm, I love pumpkin pie. I have a great recipe for crustless pumpkin pie that is really great, and super low calorie, thanks to stevia and lack of crust. I'm going to go make that right now...

Hi Bazu,
I love the new layout... it's very light and fresh! I especially love that apricot picture. We have blossoms on our apricot tree right now - so exciting!

Your new look is so light and fresh - it definitely feels like spring to me! I especially like the food pics on your sidebar.

I'm sure your old page elements are floating around cyberspace somewhere...as for how to retrieve them, I'm sorry I can't be of much help.
