too excited to blog...

I had to vote by absentee ballot, so I didn't get the thrill of going to an actual voting booth. But I'm too excited to blog, study, write, eat, anything! At the risk of looking silly tomorrow, I'm going to come out and say this election might actually go well... we might all somehow manage to send a message to the powers that be that, well, they suck. Are you with me? Have you voted yet?

Whoo-hoo! I am also cautiously excited about this election. I hope, I hope, I hope, the people get out there and fill in the boxes, punch the chads...whatever and tell this administration they SUCK. Oh, and I went and voted on my lunch break today. I sacrificed my mid-day meal here, people! ;)

I voted around 10 this morning and the place was hopping. I hope there is a great turnout! I am trying not to be too optimistic because I remember how I felt the day after in 2000 and 2004 but my fingers are crossed!

As ben says non-US citizens are holding thumbs that everyone votes to show what they think. Enough is enough.

Looks better this time as many people appear to be making the effort to go and vote :)

We voted by absentee ballot too :) Luckily in Michigan, Proposal 3 did not pass. It was a proposal that wanted to allow the hunting of mourning doves.

I voted before I went to work yesterday. Not at all surprised by the results but amazed at turnout! Seems much higher than 04!

I am very disappointed Question 1 didn't pass here in MA (selling wine at grocery stores) only because it would make my life so much easier. And Trader Joe's has a great selection...but I have to go way out of my way to get to a alcohol selling TJs.

On behalf of everybody I know, and conveying the general consensus of public opinion in the UK, well done to everyone that voted! Awesome result!!!!

Now all we have to do is vote out Tony Blair, then we can set about undoing the mess he and his party have created over the past few years.

I'm actually feeling a little optimistic about the future. How weird, after 6 years of not!
