Hi everybody! I feel so disconnected, having been traveling and without regular Internet access for what seems like forever now... I'm posting this, sitting at a Holiday Inn Express somewhere outside of Cleveland, OH. I will be home by tonight, and hope to catch up to all of your blogs and start posting again soon. (I have SO many photos- how will I catch up??)
Thank you to everyone for visiting and commenting- it has been so fun to read your comments the few times I've managed to get on-line. I hope everyone had a great holiday season and is excited for New Year's Eve tomorrow night!
Above you see a picture of our cat, Bijou, driving with us in our car. At the last minute, we decided that because of her diabetes, it would be best to take her along with us. (Our other cat, Marble, has stayed home with visits from our lovely cat-sitter) Well as you can see, Bijou does not like driving in a car at all! However, overall, she has been a great driving partner, sitting on our laps or in her carrier, and once we get to our destinations, she has been calm, eating, drinking, and using her litter box like normal.
Bijou, Daiku, and I all can't wait to be back home. ;-)

Oh! Poor little Bijou doesn't look so happy in that picture! Ha ha. But it's good to hear that she's been doing pretty well. What a trooper. Can't wait to see all your food pics that you've got backlogged. Yeah!

Excited to see all of the photos and hear about your trip. It's been too long! What a funny picture of Bijou. I always loved traveling with Bailey. She was good company. But one day she peed in our PT Cruiser - which was only about a month old. We tried everything and couldn't for the life of us get the smell out. From that day on we called if the Pee Pee Cruiser. That was about 3 years ago and the smell is either gone now or we've gotten used to it.
Can't wait to hear about your trip! It's good to see you back! Poor Bijou... I'm sure she's glad to be home.

I was catching up on your blog and I just had to comment on the pic of Bijou. She seems to have quite a few opinions about traveling...none of them good. :)I may have to borrow that pic for my desktop wallpaper for a while. lol
I'm glad to hear that she settled down once you got where you were going and had a nice time. I took my kitty, Nicodemus, with me for the holidays too. He cried for the entire hour drive to my mom's, but did OK once we got there. He even came downstairs and had Christmas with us! I was so proud.
I'm so glad you're back to blogging,. I can't wait to see what you post next.
